Myofascia release & Yin yoga for IT band relief & outer hips
If you have ever had a spasm or painful tightness on the outside of the hip running down to the knee – you definitely know where your IT band is. This is a Yin Yoga full hour practice with a myofascia realease technique for the outer hip/IT band area to release tension & bring relief from spasms & discomfort. This is a great practice to do often to keep the IT Band feeling supple & mobile.
We also release emotional & mental stress that you may be holding within the body, as we stimulate the corresponding Gallbladder meridian that runs through the whole of the side of your body.
Have your blocks, bolsters , or just cushions/pillows ready & one tennis or massage ball for the myofascia release tehcnique.
