Here’s a beginners/all levels Yin Yoga therapy practice to completely slow down both body & mind, whilst increasing flexibility in the chest, spine, outer hips & hamstrings. We start the practice with a left nostril Nadi Shodhana pranayama meditation. We will target releasing anxiety in particular, also ideal for when you are feeling highly stressed and suffering from burn out.
Releasing conscious or subconscious emotions from the body as we stimulate into lots of different meridians throughout the class. When finishing the class you will feel lighter, more open within your body, refreshed, revitalized & rebalanced. Have your bolsters, blocks, or cushions/pillows ready. Always listen to your body.
Here’s a beginners/all levels short Yin yoga therapy class to open the neck releasing any tightness and tension we may be holding here – this is the first half of the previous class for those of you that wish to work on the neck only.
We’ll explore various micro movements and releases for the neck in this 25 minute practice.
You do not need ‘props’ for this class but will need access to a wall to sit against for the first movement.

Here’s a beginners/all levels yin yoga therapy class to release pain and tightness in the neck, shoulders & upper back. The first 30 minutes of the class we work on the neck to release any tension & tightness here before a further 30 minute flow targeting the shoulders, chest & upper back.
Variations are given & explained. Suitable for all levels of experience & body shape from beginners to advanced. As we target in particular your neck, shoulders & upper back in this 60 minute practice you will stimulate the Heart & Lung meridians, releasing conscious or subconscious Stress, Resentment, Sadness emotions we can hold onto whilst working with the body.
These in-depth training programs will maximize your learning offering you all the essentials to a embodied yin yoga practice, including Taoism, the Meridian system, understanding fascia, the connective tissue and more.
You will be guided through the tools to develop your functional approach, learn about your bio individuality, understand the theory & apply sensory experience of movement & how to feel the inner experience of Yin yoga to gain maximum benefit for your own practice & to effectively teach others.
With interactive lectures, demonstrational videos and embodied full class practices you will learn to develop an inward reflective experience of Yin Yoga. Understand and explore the subtler layers, from the energetic to the psycho-emotional, to the psychological dimensions.
