Our Yin Yoga and Chinese Medicine Teacher Training

3 Key Integrations:

Learn Chinese Medicine theory, including philosophy, visceral anatomy, meridian physiology, the Four Vital Substances, and the Five Spirits, through the lens of Yin Yoga. Explore fascial anatomy and its relationship to the nervous system, vagus nerve, pain response, and brain function, alongside core muscles, ligaments, and tendons, functional movement, spinal and hip anatomy, and student biomechanics to support safe, embodied teaching.

Twice-daily Yin Yoga sessions explore the seven archetypes and their variations. Study advanced fascia-based techniques, including meridian myofascial massage, myoyin, and acuyin, alongside pranayama, meditation, and hand mudras to refine the mind–body connection. Develop teaching confidence through interactive asana labs, exploring functional movement, skeletal variation, and adaptable modifications suitable for all  levels.

Build confidence through asana teaching labs, progressing toward a full class practicum to refine instruction and observation skills. Learn adaptations to support a safe functional practice, and develop effective adjustment techniques to enhance your teaching. Deepen your journey through reflective practices that integrate mindset awareness beyond the mat, and engage in sharing circles that support connection and collective learning.

The Differences between the 100 and 50-Hour Yin Yoga and Chinese Medicine Teacher Training

Whether you aim to deepen your practice or advance your teaching career, our specialized Yin Yoga training programs are designed to guide you toward your personal & professional aspirations.

Teaching Skills

What sets the 100-hour training apart is its strong focus on teaching methodology. You will work with a comprehensive teaching toolbox, engage in specialised methodology workshops, and participate in full-class practicums. These hands-on experiences support the development of your teaching voice, build confidence, and help you apply what you learn in real time.

To continue supporting your growth after the training, you will also receive a dedicated Teaching Toolbox resource. This level of teaching methodology and practicum experience is not included in the 50-hour training.

Business and Professional Development

The 100-hour program goes beyond theory and practice to prepare you for life as a professional teacher. You will explore the student–teacher relationship, study different learning styles, practise online teaching, and gain insight into sustainable professional development — areas not covered in the 50-hour training.
