Chinese medicine is often seen as a very complex philosophy; therefore, this Yin yoga teacher training Bali 100-hour program has been carefully structured to gently guide you through all essential principles to fully understand the why, how, & what we are working.
We divulge fully into the philosophical background of Yin yoga. Together with understanding the internal & external signs of imbalance, & the Chinese Medicine spiritual aspects & how this affects our emotional/mental well-being. We also explore how to apply these theories off the mat for our potential for growth & connection with others.
Providing self-experienced embedded learning, with the enhanced healing potential of a vast range of myofascial self-massage, Myoyin & Acuyin techniques.
High importance has also been placed on anatomy, including the main muscle groups, skeletal segments, & essential functional yoga anatomy & skeletal differences within the hip & spine, including your own body anatomical analysis. With daily asana variations labs provided, you will become utterly familiar with the wide range of creative postures available & that we may create depending on your body.
We also dive deeper into the fascia system, understanding it’s connectivity with pain, the nervous system & trauma.
Anatomy is so essential, but so is learning to still the mind. Therefore, a daily progressive pranayama & meditation program, with complimentary hand mudras, is also incorporated for an embodied experience.
The training also offers essential teaching tools & opportunities for you to practice teaching in a supportive way. We also explore all main contra-indications & safe adjusting practices to assure you feel competent to effectively work with a wide range of varying students.
Reflection allows us to pause amidst a busy life, untangle our choices & experiences, & can begin to create meaning. This meaning becomes learning, which can then inform our future mindset & actions, taking our practice off the mat. Organ health, lifestyle tools, & introspective & reflective questions are also profoundly encouraged.
By the end of this Yin yoga teacher training, you will gain practical applications, confidence skills & the qualification to teach Yin Yoga to others with confidence.

I recently completed my yin yoga teacher training course with Claire. Claire is a fantastic teacher: very professional but always maintains a sense of fun. Claire demonstrated very thorough theoretical and practical knowledge of yin yoga. In just a week she was able to help me listen to my own body and intuitively respond to what my body needs in yin yoga shapes more so than any other yin yoga teacher has before. As I am someone who is already naturally quite flexible, a lot of yin yoga teachers “give up” on me as they find it difficult to offer variations – but Claire offered me guidance that helped me get deeper into my body. Claire is also very affable and supported team bonding – by the end of the week, all of us attending the yin yoga training group were good friends. I was really happy with my experience – well worth the time and money.
I completed my Yin Yoga training with Claire on Gilli Air. The experience was amazing. We deleted deep into the practice of Yin and Yang and covered everything form sequencing to philosophy. I got so much from the training on a personal level. Having always had a lot of Yang energy this gave me a deep feeling of balance and how to create this for others. I really fell in love with Yin and the deeper work it does on a physical and emotional level. I would Highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to teach yin or go deeper into the practice. I had the most amazing time learning from Claire in the yin yoga teacher training. She has a great knowledge of yoga in general and especially in yin yoga. She has a great way to provide her knowledge and to bring the theory into practice. I even learned a lot of things to integrate into my yang hours and personal practice. Out of the many ttc I have already done, I probably enjoyed this one the most. I would def come back to Claire if I want to deepen my yin knowledge and teachings.
